Constitutional Carry Petition

To: My State Representative & Senator

Whereas: The Right of the People to defend themselves from violent criminal attack is God-given and unalienable; and

Whereas: This Right is protected by the Second Amendment to the United States Constitution and includes the right to carry a handgun for self-defense; and

Whereas: Requiring law-abiding citizens to beg for government permission through the permit system before they can exercise their constitutional right to keep and bear arms is a clear violation of that right;

Therefore: On behalf of law-abiding gun owners all across the state of Texas, I insist you publicly go on record in support of Constitutional Carry and work to advance this piece of pro-gun legislation, including electing a pro-gun Speaker of the Texas House.

Dear Fellow Texan,

Texas continues tumbling down the rankings of most “gun friendly” states in America.

Meanwhile, Constitutional Carry has become law of the land in 15 states across the country! In fact, Oklahoma, South Dakota, and Kentucky all signed Constitutional Carry into law in 2019.

But in Texas, you must continue begging the government for permission to exercise your right to keep and bear arms!

In fact, Texas politicians went out of their way to kill Constitutional Carry in 2019 with Speaker Dennis Bonnen at the helm.

Now that Speaker Bonnen is resigning in disgrace ahead of the 2020 elections, TXGR is leading the charge to replace him with a pro-gun Speaker who will help advance Constitutional Carry in the Texas House!

That’s why it’s critical you sign your Constitutional Carry Petition to your legislators below -- insisting they take a bold stance in support of Constitutional Carry, and elect a pro-gun Speaker!

Once you’ve signed your petition, please consider contributing $100, $50, or $25 to help fund our fight to defend your gun rights in Austin.

For Texas and Liberty,
